Dr. Nickolas Zaller, PhD is a Principal Investigator for the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences project “The HVIP+ Community Model: A Community Violence Prevention Program in a Southern State.” He is a member of the Steering Committee and Data and Methods workgroup for the Community Firearm Violence Prevention Network.

Dr. Zaller serves as the senior director of research and evaluation at the HAVI. He has more than 20 years of experience leading research on the intersection of infectious diseases, behavioral health disorders and criminal-legal system involvement.  More recently, Dr. Zaller collaborated with colleagues to establish the first HVIP in the state of Arkansas in partnership with the City of Little Rock and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences hospital.
