I started with the Recovery Legal Care program when it launched in Fall 2022, brought on by my thesis advisor Dr. Elizabeth Tung while completing my master’s at the University of Chicago. Upon graduating, I joined the RLC team full-time in August 2023 and have been helping the program develop and grow over the years. Before my time at University of Chicago, I went to Purdue University where I earned a dual degree with a B.S. in Brain and Behavioral Sciences, a B.A. in Law and Society (Criminology), and a minor in Forensic Sciences. Given my background, being able to work at the intersection of psychosocial research, medicine, and law for a novel HVIP-MLP has been a uniquely rewarding experience.
