A.J. Million is a Co-Investigator for the University of Michigan Coordinating Center and a member of the Data & Methods Core where he provides expertise in data repositories, linkage and archiving for the Community Firearm Violence Prevention Network.
A.J. is the Director of the National Archive of Criminal Justice Data (NACJD) at the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) at the University of Michigan. In 2017, he earned his PhD in Information Science and Learning Technologies from the University of Missouri where he studied innovation in public-sector organizations (especially libraries). A.J.’s current research examines how to create, improve, and sustain scientific knowledge infrastructures. His work has been published in venues such as the Journal of the Association for Information Science and Technology, First Monday, College and Research Libraries, and Cataloging & Classification Quarterly. Before joining ICPSR, A.J. was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the School of Information at the University of Michigan and a Research Librarian for the Missouri Department of Transportation.
