Research Topics
Dr. Erin Dehon is a Co-Investigator for the University of Mississippi Medical Center project “A Proposal to Establish the Mississippi Violence Injury Prevention (VIP) Program” and is a member of two workgroups: 1) Data & Methods, and 2) Policy, Implementation and Economics for the Community Firearm Violence Prevention Network.
Dr. Erin Dehon is a Professor and Vice Chair of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She is a member of the Data & Methods Workgroup and the Policy, Implementation and Economics Workgroup for the CFVP network. She is a clinical psychologist with training and experience in evidence-based treatments for mental health conditions, behavioral and psychological assessments, and quantitative and qualitative research using social-psychological variables. Dr. Dehon is interested in community-based research focused on reducing health disparities.
