Latanya Monroe is a Case Manager for the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston’s project, “Incorporation of a Health Approach to Hospital Violence Intervention Programs: The Integration of Community and Hospital-Based Initiatives to Reduce Gun Violence in a Large Metropolitan Area.” With a focus on trauma-informed care, community collaboration, and long-term support, she works to reduce violence, recidivism, and health disparities among at-risk populations.
