Dr. Ruosha Li, PhD is a Co-Investigator for the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston project “Launching the Houston-HVIP: Developing and Evaluating a Hospital-Based Intervention to Reduce Recurrent Violence.” She is a member of the Data and Methods workgroup for the Community Firearm Violence Prevention Network.
Dr. Li is an Associate Professor of Biostatistics & Data Science at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She is also an affiliated member in the Coordinating Center for Clinical Trials (CCCT) there. Dr. Li holds a PhD in Biostatistics from the Emory University, and is an expert in event-time data, longitudinal data and repeated measurements, multivariate data, composite outcomes, association analysis, semiparametric regression, and assessment of predictive performance. She has served as the PI or co-PI on several methodological projects funded by the NIH or NSF. Furthermore, she has conducted extensive collaborative research in various biomedical fields, playing important roles in many clinical trials and observational studies.
