Sharay Castanon-Franco serves as a Research Assistant on “The HVIP+ Community Model: A Community Violence Prevention Program in a Southern State” project with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Her responsibilities include assisting with the study management, as well as the data collection and analysis.
Ms. Castanon-Franco is currently completing her Master of Public Health degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, concentrating in epidemiology. She graduated from Emory University with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology, double majoring in Human Health with a focus in Epidemiology.
Sharay is passionate about working in the community and dedicated to improving the health and well-being of those she serves. She believes in the power of education, collaboration, and community-driven solutions to address health disparities and improve overall quality of life.
